Library/Media Center and Learning Resource Center
The Learning Resource Center was relocated over the summer of 2005 from the lower level of the school to its present location adjacent to the Library/Media Center. In addition, an overhead projector, large projection screen, sound system, VCR, and DVD players were installed in the Library making this space a true Media Center. A new upholstered seating area, purchased by the High School and Academy Mothers' Club, allows the students a comfortable place to study, play chess and read. Cushioned window seats were built, utilizing the bright airy recesses.

Students may use the Library/Media Center and Learning Resource Center 30 minutes before and after school, in addition to all day, including lunch hours. The Library/Media Center has acquired many new books funded by Entertainment Book sales. Student Book Club members take field trips to the local book store and chose titles they feel their fellow students will enjoy reading. Foreign newspapers and magazines are also available for students to read at their leisure.

The Learning Resource Center's 26 computers are available for students' use for homework and research. Classes also utilize the LRC by using internet and software programs that enhance their course work. Teachers may reserve space in the LRC and Library/Media Center as well as equipment via our new online scheduler.
