Shrine CatholicAcademy continues its commitment of incorporating technology into the learning experience of each student.
Available Technology
Students and faculty have access to:
- Portable laptop cart
- 21 Palm Zires
- Wireless Internet throughout the building
- Computer Lab - Windows XP and Windows 2000
- IMAC, EMAC, Linux and Unix computers available
- Six installed Smartboards with projectors, four installed projectors and one portable projector
- Each classroom is equipped with a computer
- Access to streaming video
- Media Center projector with full multi-media capabilities
- A PRS System
- USB Flash Drives
- Two Digital Movie Cameras
Course Offerings using technology
Computer Literacy
- Students are familiarized with computer technology.
- Students will become skilled in using Office XP: Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Students are introduced to PDAs.
