Faith Formation
The atmosphere at Shrine Catholic Grade School reflects the spirit of Christian life and learning. Students attend Mass weekly, participate in reconciliation services, and experience school wide, as well as classroom, prayer services. Field trips such as those to Blessed Sacrament Cathedral and The Solanus Casey Center expose the students to faith outside of school. Service projects and activities in support of those in need help the children “live their faith”.

In all we do we are guided by our motto, “At Shrine we try to exemplify Christ by praying, learning, and growing together”.

Sacramental Preparation
Children in second grade receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Eucharist. Preparation for the celebration of these sacraments is a joint effort of parents, teachers, and the religious education staff.
