Personal Statement
My experience in computer programming and research in the business world has given me great insight into today’s technology. Teaching that technology to our students, answering their questions and showing them the technology they have available to them is very rewarding. Staying a step ahead of them is sometimes a challenge, but they always know I am here to answer their questions, assist them with their technology and keep a watchful eye on them for their safety. Quoting and ordering new technology equipment has become one of my prime responsibilities as teaching evolves in the classroom.
Together with my National Honor Society students and other NHS co-moderators we have done many community outreach service projects, provided tutors for all Shrine students and given tours at all Shrine High School open houses. The Shrine NHS continues to make an impact here and in the surrounding communities.
My husband and I joined Shrine parish in 1981. Our three sons all attended and graduated from Shrine schools.
